Overview
Edict is a ongoing worldbuilding project set in Atheria, a low-fantasy world. Through short stories and lore, it explores a world shaped equally by faith and fear. Drawing on the real-world history of the medieval inquisitions, the narratives tell a story of a system where suffering is not used solely as punishment for heresy and apostasy, but as a means of control.
The World
We defined the tech stack, page structure, and data flow to ensure scalability and long-term stability. With Guesser, we were able to make these decisions upfront and avoid rework later.
